خمس سنوات بلا ألوان... (كيف عاد الضوء إلى عيني عبدالوهاب ؟ )

تكتب الحياة فصولا جديدة و تبقي قمة العمل الانساني عندما يرتد بصر طفل قد يتجاوز عمرة الخمسة اعوام .

فاقدا للبصر منذ الولادة , في واحدة من العيادات الجوالة وفي قرية بالخرطوم شمال امدرمان كانت المنظمة حاضرة بعيادة جوالة , و ما ان اتي الطفل عبدالوهاب مع خالته كشف علية طبيب المنظمة وقال اذا أجريت عملية لهذا الطفل سيرتد الية بصرة لانه ولد بة ماء ابيض في العينين ازالتة سيدى النور .

ولكن اهلة لم يذهبو الي طبيب قبل ذلك وقد تقدم عمرة ربما تقتل نسبة نجاح العملية , ولان اهلة لايملكون شئ تكفلت المنظمة بعمل العملية رغم ان في ذلك مخاطرة وعدم نجاحها .

لكنها نجحت وأرتد للطفل بصرة وكان قد راي النور بعد 5 اعوام لاول مرة في حياته.

شعور الفرح في تلك اللحظات لايوصف من اسرتة الصغيرة التى تعانى في كسب عيشها ومنا نحن في رمق ان قمنا بعمل يعيد الحياة لطفل ويري النور وهو في مقتبل العمر.

Life writes new chapters, and the pinnacle of humanitarian work is revealed when a child, perhaps over five years old, regains his sight. He had been blind since birth. In one of the mobile clinics in a village north of Omdurman, Khartoum, the organization was present. When the child, Abdul Wahab, arrived with his aunt, the organization's doctor examined him and said that if he underwent surgery, his sight would be restored. He explained that Abdul Wahab was born with cataracts in both eyes, which had been removed by the organization. His family had not taken him to a doctor before, and his advanced age might have reduced the chances of success. Because his family had no means, the organization undertook the surgery, despite the risks and the possibility of failure. But it was successful, and the child regained his sight. He saw the light for the first time in his life after five years. The joy in those moments was indescribable for his small family, who struggle to make ends meet, and for us, who felt a profound sense of accomplishment in performing an act that gave a child life and allowed him to see the light in the prime of his youth.
